The Summer fruit season is officially underway with the arrival of Cherries in the store yesterday. They are an early variety called Earlise and are a soft but flavoursome fruit.
Strawberries have been on the go for a few weeks now and we have generally been running two lines in store. One a smaller grade strawberry and one a Grade 1 berry so plenty of options there.

We now have Raspberries and Blueberries too which are starting to come down a little in price.

This week has also seen the arrival of Nectarines and Apricots.

I always get so excited when the first of the stone fruit comes out, Just remember that prices are usually a little high at the beggining of the season due to a small supply but as the supply increases the price will start to come down so…Watch…this…space.
